4 Days Tour To Fes Via Sahara Desert From Marrakech

Day 1: Marrakech – Kasbah Ait ben Haddou – Skoura – Roses Valley – Dades Gorges

Your 4 days desert tour from Marrakech begins with a pick up from your accommodation in Marrakech at 8 AM, Your professional driver/guide will pick you up in an air-conditioned vehicle and drive towards the Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou, you will cross the high atlas mountains road enjoying the various villages of adobe settled at the foothills of the high mountains, during the road, you will have many stops for some amazing photos, continue through the old road of Caravans to reach the Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, an old fortified village, marked as world heritage by UNESCO since 1987. A site where many famous international movies shot,  such as Gladiator, the Lawrence of Arabia, the Alexander, ….After exploring the village with your guide you will enjoy a traditional lunch in a local restaurant. And then, continue our journey to Ouarzazate, once in Ouarzazate, you will have the opportunity to explore the cinema studios of Atlas, to discover the old staff and the movies shot on these sites, continue the*n, to explore another world heritage 18^th century Kasbah in Ouarzazate. After that, we will head towards the Rose valley, through the palm grove of Skoura. Visit the magnificent Kasbah of Amridil (Optional). Then, Departure to reach the rose valley, where e will have a stop to visit a rose cooperative to get an idea about the benefits of the products made from the unique rose if you come in may then, we will enjoy a moment at the annual festival of roses. Our trip will continue through the valley of thousand Kasbahs to reach the Gorges of Dades, crossing the Berber villages, arrival at the gorges, and check in to your hotel, Overnight night in the Gorges.

Day 2: Dades valley – Todra Gorges – Erfoud – Merzouga Desert

After a traditional breakfast at your hotel, we will first visit the Gorges of Dades for some amazing photos of the great canyon, then, start a new journey towards the desert of Merzouga. Our first stop will be the visit to the village of Todra and the Todra Gorges. After exploring the Gorges of Todra, our explorative journey will continue to the desert,  passing through the city of Erfoud (city of fossils and dates) until you reach Merzouga.

Once in Merzouga and after a welcoming mint tea, we will start a new adventure in a caravan of camels, an hour and a half the stroll the great golden dunes of Erg Chebbi, and reach the desert camp at the foot of the Great Dune. During the camel trek, you will enjoy a lifetime of the beautiful sunset over the sand dunes.

Dinner at the camp and overnight in a private tent in the heart of the desert under its spectacular starry sky.

NB: If you book a luxury tour, then, you will had breakfast and take shower at the desert camp, else, the breakfast and the shower will be at the hotel after your camel rides back in the morning.

Day 3: Merzouga – Erg Chebbi and Visit to the Nomads

Early wake up to enjoy a beautiful sunrise over the golden dunes and admire a change of colors with sunrise, then, camel ride back to your hotel where you will meet your driver again, for a new adventure desert tour to explore the wonders of Sahara, a full-day tour to enjoy the splendor of Erg Chebi and its dunes, you can experience a quad biking tour to stroll the dunes (optional), then, continue to visit the nomads and discover the hidden silent life of the local nomads,  Lunch in a local restaurant, then, our explorative journey will continue to visit the Gnaoua village of black people originally from the sub-Saharan, we will enjoy moments listening to their music, after that, we will drive back to your hotel. In the afternoon you will have the opportunity to experience Sandboarding, or just relax at your hotel enjoying a moment at the swimming pool.

Day 4: Merzouga – Ziz Valley – Cedar Forest – Ifran – Fes

Early wake up to enjoy a traditional breakfast and get ready to start a new journey towards the eldest imperial city in Morocco, Fes, we will drive towards Errachidia, passing through Erfoud, our next stop will be at the Oasis de Aoufous (located in the palm grove of Ziz, a panoramic view of the oasis for lovers of photography), continue towards the city of Errachidia,  where our next stop will be at the Dam, which offers to travelers beautiful panoramic views because of its various contrasts of its blue/green water and its ocher-colored mountains. In addition, our journey continues through the Middle Altas crossing the Pass of Tizi N’talghom at 1,907 meters.

Stop for lunch at the city of Midelte, the capital of Apples, after lunch, we continue to reach the village of Azrou, where you will have the opportunity to see the old tree (800 years and called Cèdre Gouraud), as well as the opportunity to see the monkeys (Barbary apes) at cedar forest, from here we will go to Ifran (also known as Switzerland Morocco), located in a mountainous area at a height of 1713 meters, in its vicinity is the Ifrane National Park, representative of its figure of stone the lion, one of the animals that formerly lived there.

Finally, we will continue our journey to Fez and passing through Imouzar Kander, we will arrive in Fez in the afternoon, where we will drop you off at your Riad / Hotel.
